Little Dark Riding Boots

One of fall's biggest trends is boots. I am always so excited to buy another fashionable and comfy pair of boots for school and the fall. So what are 2012's latest boot fashions? Well, there are always the ankle length and UGGS, but this year it's different. This year it's all about the riding boot. Tall, sleek, and incredibly chic. These boots can take a casual approach with a pair of skinny jeans and a warm sweater or cardigan. They can take a polished look with skinny jeans and a blazer or even a dressy look with your favorite fall dress. So whether you're wearing Tory Burch or Target's Mossimo, try being Little Dark Riding Boots this fall.

Can you pass the Mustard?

So I can tell by the cooler nights that fall is approaching. It's a big excitement to us fashion junkies to see the newest trends of the season. One thing I am interested in the most is "What is this seasons "It color." I was somewhat to see that jewel-tones have taken the cake this fall. One of these jewel-like shades being a mustard yellow. I wasn't much of a fan, honestly..until now! The color really warms up an outfit and completes it in a new and unique way. No one really expects that mustard yellow. The color is growing on many people and is being seen more and more in clothing stores. So the question is: Can you pass the Mustard?

When in Doubt, Belt it Out

Recently I've been loving the effect belts have been giving on clothing. You can use them to slim or highlight your waist, or to jazz up an outfit. I've seen belts commonly on dresses, shirts and blazers, but a new way to use this accessory just recently caught my eye: belting cardigans! This look is super cute and you can use it in many ways.

Belted over a dress: cozy up a dress with a cardi and belt it to keep the look together

How I'd Wear It:
Belt an oversized cardi and wear it over leggings with cute ankle boots instant casual comfort

So when in doubt, belt it out!

Fall Florals

Yes you have read the title of this post right: Florals are in for fall. This springy pattern is perfect for the brisk weather of this season when it has a darker colored background. Prints are very popular this fall and were seen on many of the runway shows for this season. One of those prints being floral. So put some color into your wardrobe this school year and bring your florals with you to fall. Try it in scarves, dresses, shirts, anything that uses falls deeper toned colors.
And never underestimate the power of the flower.

Fondue at the Melting Pot

Ahh there is nothing like closing the week with a dinner at the Melting Pot with my friend Tina and my aunt and uncle. The food was spectacular and the staff were great. The dinner was a treat (for my recent eighth grade graduation) from my aunt and uncle. It was overall an evening well spent.

Cheers to new hope in high school!

Dilemma!

I just had the biggest fashion dilemma. I love my navy blue lace skirt paired with a simple white cami, but I wanted to jazz it up a bit! So, I pulled out of my closet a bright blue blazer and a denim shirt. I tried both on and could not decide which one to put on!! Want to help me? Comment below and tell me which one would be perfect for a dinner at the Melting Pot tomorrow.

Help me style 4 awhile!
