Wide legged Jeans

I must admit, when I saw wide-legged jeans were coming back, I was disappointed. I was never a fan of the flare jeans I used to wear when I was little. I had moved on to skinnies and was never going back. Until, my private school banned skinny jeans on our casual days (we wear uniforms). I had to change my usual style and wear a wider legged jean. To be frank, they were cute! These jeans can work with shirts and shoes that skinny jeans can't. If your an athlete and want to wear sneakers you can hide them under these jeans. Also, these jeans make you appear taller. They are good for giving you an extra boost of height by wearing heels or wedges with them. The wide leg hides the shoe, so no one has to know how tall the heel is. Also, I paired these light wash jeans with a coral colored crop shirt and wore a white cami under it. Crop tops look  amazing with these jeans. Something I want to try is pairing a tiered tank with white wide legged jeans for a spring or summer look. So point of blog: Do not fear trying wide-legged jeans. Have an amazing weekend!

Makeup Tips: Less is More

Today I wanna talk about makeup. It many girls and women use makeup to cover up their flaws. What they don't know is the real use for makeup. Makeup isn't used for hiding, it's for highlighting. I use makeup to highlight and enhance my best features. This way, no one notices your flaws. I will do a video of my daily makeup routine sometime soon, but I will let you know what I do.
1. I wash my face with Clean&Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser.
2. Pat dry, never wipe.
3. I apply Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturizer as both my facial moisturizer and daily acne medication.
4. I take a white Revlon Cream eye shadow and apply some on my lids and under my eyes to brighten my eyes.
5. I use my Wet&Wild cream eye liner and apply to my tightline to make my lashes look thicker.
6. I put on my Revlon Plumping mascara.
7. Occasionally, I add illuminating powder to my cheek bones, above my brows, and to my nose as a highlighter.
8. I finish off with my Eos lip balm and every now and then my Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in Sunset Peach.
I hope these steps give you some advice on how to apply little makeup, but still highlighting features. Remember: LESS IS MORE! Have a great night!

Lengthening Your Legs

Let's face it, we all wanna look super cute in our outfits. Skirts, jeans, dresses, you name it. We wanna rock them all! For me, being pretty short, I want to look a little taller in some outfits. Anyone who is short probably agrees. I like my height however and have no need for permanently making myself taller. There is a way to get longer legs without the surgery. You aren't even changing your body at all! It is the magic of contouring your body with your outfit. It's all an illusion! Just pair a short skirt with a high-neck shirt. The high-neck of the shirt covers your chest and draws all the attention to your legs. So, if you wanna rock  a mini skirt, try this method of lengthening your legs. Good luck!

Making Color Stand OUT

Hey everyone!! So this spring I am experimenting with adding bursts of color to my outfits. After all, spring is ALL about color. Do not remove black from your wardrobe, however! I have found a way to incorporate black into outfits and still have that burst of color. For example, I recently purchased a colorful blue, lilac, and peach floral-printed skirt from Forever 21. I was originally going to just pair it with a matching lilac, peach, or blue shirt, but I didn't. I found that pairing the skirt with a black camisole, not only made the skirt seem even more colorful, but it made the print stand out and the skirt itself became the greatest aspect of my outfit. So point of this post is, NEVER be afraid to pair bold colored items with black. It doesn't lessen the outfit's color it makes it STAND OUT.
have an amazing day!
